Hold It Against Me - Get the Look!

OMG I got one follower! That may not seem like much to other people, but that's a huge deal for me. I'm so grateful. It has been a long time since I last posted and I'll tell you why.

I forgot my password! I'm not that great with technology so I wasn't sure what to do about it. They say you shouldn't write your password down, I don't care anymore. I wrote it down and let's hope I don't lose it this time.

Here's how to get Britney's make up look.

Use mineral foundation (whichever) to cover your face first. Remember to use concealer! Then get pink blush and brush it across your cheek. Suck in your cheeks, and wherever you sucked in, that's where your blush needs to be applied. Yes? Got that? I love, love, love Max Factor's Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in 14 Soft Pink. It is the amazing. You just dab a bit on each side of your cheek and then use a brush and stretch the colour across your cheek bone. Another good brand is Natio.

Don't use matte eyeshadow. Remember, you want to sparkle. Britney uses Make-Up Forever because she shows she does. Isn't it great that she tells us what brand she uses so it's easier for us to imitate? Anyway, it's a creamy eyeshadow, but mineral can deliver that shiny result as well.

Use dark brown cream eyeshadow first for the corners of the eyes. Then use a light base color for the center of the eyeball and near the tear ducks. Blend in the dark brown so it isn't so harsh. Now use your finger tip and dip into the light base color and brush your finger across the brow bone. It won't be as bright as your eyes because you're using your fingers so the particles should spread out.



Now use black liquid eye-liner around the eyes. I use Revlon's. It needs to be harsh, not subtle. Britney makes it big!

If you have fake eye-lashes, put those on. If not, that's okay. Just use Cover Girl's Lash Blast Fusion. They will make your eyelashes voluminous.

 

This is my favourite part. I love Britney's lip color. Use Revlon's Think Pink super lustrous lipstick. Then use Max Factor's Vibrant Curve Effect Lip gloss in the colour 'me, me, me'. This stuff is amazing. I love it, but you already know how much I love Max Factor.

Britney - Hold it Against Me

So I just saw Britney's new video for Hold It Against Me. My friends and I all LOVE it. It's so different to anything we've seen before. I love her in that white dress. She reminds me of a Disney Princess. I'm going to create a make-up post to get Britney's look in the video. My friends and me want to learn the dance routine but it keeps getting cut off so we're not sure how it goes. Have you seen it yet?

Audition was Awful

So auditions were Romeo and Juliet were today. If you wanted to play an actor you have to stand up with whoever wants your part and then act out some lines. After everyone has auditioned, we all get a piece of paper and write down who we want to play for the main characters. The class didn't choose me for Juliet! I can't believe it! How can they not choose me? Kate said it's an outrage and I totally agree with her.

They chose this girl that never talks in class. I don't remember ever seeing her in class. So maybe she's a really good actor. She's really good at pretending to cry. I don't think I'm bad at all. But she doesn't look like Juliet. She's got dull flat hair. I put a lot of effort and I look a lot like a Juliet. A.J. was chosen as Romeo. I picked him too because he makes me laugh.

I'm the second Juliet so if the girl can't do it then I'll step in. That means I have to learn all her lines. What's the point of learning all the lines if I don't get to play her! It's ridiculous.

How to Look Like Juliet Capulet

To look like Juliet Capulet or Olivia Hussey, you need mascara, bronzer, and a plum or rosey coloured lipstick. No gloss. Lipstick has to be matte because you want to look like you don't have make up on. For the play I would use fake eyelashes because that's what she uses. But if you just want to look like her everyday or something, just use blackest black mascara. She also has thick eyebrows so don't pluck your eyebrows too thin! It makes you look innocent and young anyway. Before lipstick and mascara, put on foundation and then brush bronzer lightly over your whole face. Then a bit more on the contours of your cheek. Contours is when you suck in your cheeks. That way when you walk or dance and the sunlight hits you, you'll look amazing.

The lipstick I just bought for my Juliet make over is Max Factor's 859 Cinder. It has to be applies lightly as if you don't have lipstick, but you do.

Oh Romeo, Romeo!

I'm studying Romeo and Juliet for English and it's so hard. My friends and me now say "I bite my thumb at you" to people that are annoying us. It's really funny. Since we're studying it, our English teachers thought we should put on a play for the whole school to watch. "Shakespeare is meant to be read out loud." That's what my teacher said. So I went up to him and said if I could be Juliet.

He said no! Can you believe it? I'm like volunteering to be the main actor. Everyone else is too shy to be her. Or they aren't that pretty and Juliet is pretty. Look at the movies. I never watched them but I see pictures of the actors and stuff. Anyway, he said I have to audition in front of everyone. He says audition will happen next week. Why make me wait. Oh well. At least it's to show everyone that he's being fair, even though I'm already such a Juliet.

My best friend Jessica and me practised the first parts of Juliet. I was Juliet and she was the mum. Jessica would play a fantastic mum. I hope she gets the part so we can act together.

Sleepover at Kate's!

On Saturday I had a sleepover with my BFFs. It was tons of fun. We all stayed at Kate's. She had bowls of chips, pop corn, sponge cakes, brownies, and chocolate biscuits on the living room table. I said I can only eat the pop corn because it's lighter than the rest. I always watch what I eat. Jessica, Kate and Em stuffed their faces.

This girl at school heard us talking about the sleepover. She's such a weirdo. She went up to me and asked if she could join us. I said no. Duh. And she actually asked why. Get a clue. I said BFFs only and she said she thought we were BFFs. As if. We never hang out. She just sits next to us sometimes in class but we don't talk. So I just stared at her like the weirdo she is and she left. I hope she didn't cry or anything. I know we're not allowed to be exclusive but this isn't school anymore! It's our own private lives and we can do whatever we want. I told my BFFs this and they just laughed. Em called her boyfriend while we were telling each other scary stories. She's had a boyfriend for two weeks and she doesn't stop talking about him. When she came back I totally told her off for ditching us and breaking the rules. YOU NEVER call up your BF on girl's night.

Jessica bought a stack of Maybeline Nail Polish. I painted my nails metallic cream.

Morning Routine

This is my first post and I think it's a good idea that I talk about my morning routine before I go to school. So I wake up. I have breakfast first. I always have wholemeal toast with blueberry jam on top. I have a glass of orange juice because I hate milk. I am also like cutting down on the diary stuff. I brush my teeth with Colgate Total. Then I wash my face with Clearasil for Sensitive Skin. It's really good. Then I use Neutrogena's Alcohol Free Toner. After that I put on Clinque's moisturizer. That takes like thirty minutes.

I also have to straighten my hair and put on my make up. For school I just use Max Factor's Facefinity foundation, Erase concealer Masterpiece mascara, Lipfinity gloss, and any light pink blusher. That takes like another thirty minutes. I keep all of my make up in a make up bag. I bring that to school in case something goes wrong. My friends call me first aide because everytime something tragic happens to them (new pimples ahhh!), I always have some foundation and concealer to fix them.

I only help my friends because they earned my help. I don't want to be the school's slave. So that's what I do before school! See you next time!
